Quick start

Yes. Paste the link to a Short the same way as a normal video and you get the same MP4 and MP3 options.
MP4 keeps the picture, so it is the one to pick for watching. MP3 is audio only, which keeps files small for music, podcasts and lectures.
Usually your Downloads folder. On Android check the Files app, on iPhone and iPad open Files and then Downloads, and on a computer look in Downloads. The help guides above cover each device.
Many browsers show video files in a built-in player tab. To keep a copy, open the browser menu (or press and hold the video) and choose Download or Save video as.
Y2mate lists every quality YouTube provides for that video. If a clip was uploaded in 720p, there will not be a 1080p option to choose.
Download links expire after a few hours. Press Download again and Y2mate fetches fresh links for you, or simply look the video up once more.
